Bahawalpur University LLM Classes Start

Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) Vice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Mukhtar has said that the university is making rapid advancement towards its goal of becoming the renowned educational institution of the Islamic world, so it is the responsibility of the faculty to utilise its total energies for the betterment of academic standards and research activities. The VC was addressing a special meeting of the Deans, Principals of Colleges and Heads of Departments here on Saturday. He announced the launching of LLM classes in the Law Department and declared it a milestone in the history of the IUB. He advised the faculty to ensure punctuality so that the university affairs could be managed in an organised manner.
He said that it was a proof of the popularity of IUB that not only PhD scholars from local universities, but also from renowned foreign universities were aspiring to join it.
He said that this overall success had been possible only due to the combined dedication and commitment of last year which enabled the academic activities to be continued in peaceful and conducive environment.
The VC also apprised the participants about the progress of the construction works of the buildings of the Sub-Campuses of the Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan besides the Agriculture College. He expressed his determination to continue the administrative reforms, so that the financial deficit could be controlled.
The Vice-Chancellor on this occasion advised the management to provide all facilities to the students as well as ensure the academic discipline in the university.
