BZU Code Compitition..

I want to share an idea
Idea is:
BZU has a "Institute of Computing" right!!! And it consist of three departments
1. Department of Computer Science
2. Department of Information Technology
3. Department of Telecommunication System

And these departments offer these courses:
» BS (IT) -Undergraduate
» BS (Telecom) -Undergraduate
» BS(CS) -Undergraduate
» M.Sc. (Telecom) -Graduate
» MCS -Graduate
» MIT -Graduate
» MS (CS) -Graduate

In every course each student must read C/C++ in first or second semester..

So, there must be a code competition between these student.. In which selected student participate from each class.. These student will be select by their class fellows.
A same project will be assigned to all the students, student make this project in LAB, in a specific time..

Winner will be decided on small and efficient code...

I think this can be done official by including teachers in it.

Benefits of doing this competition is:
1. More and more student will take interest in Programming.
2. Programming skills will increase
3. ??
4. ?
